Espresso, Rooted
in Angolan Soil.

mauricechater sources rare highland arabica from Angola's volcanic slopes and roasts it in small batches for an espresso that is dense, dark and unmistakably ours.

Grown above 1,400 metres and shaded by native forest, our cherries ripen slowly — building the sugars that give this espresso its signature depth.

Our Story

Made By Hand, In Angola

mauricechater began with a simple conviction: that Angola's volcanic highlands could produce espresso to rival any origin on earth. We work directly with smallholder farms in Huambo and Bié, paying fair prices for cherries picked at peak ripeness.

Each lot is roasted in small batches, cupped for quality, and packed within days of roasting — so every espresso pulled carries the same density, sweetness and long finish we tasted at the farm gate.

This is coffee with a place, a face, and a purpose: to put Angolan espresso on the world's finest bars.

Our Promise

Quality, Traceability, Fair Trade

Every bag is traceable to the farm it came from. Every farmer is paid above market rate. Every roast is tasted before release.
